Breakfast time : Poha


2-3 cups thick(mota) Poha (flattened rice)
A pinch asafoetida
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1-2 green chilies chopped small
1 onion Chopped
1 potato Chopped
1/2 cup peanuts
3/4 teaspoon turmeric
4-5 curry leaves
Salt to taste
Fresh Coriander for garnish
Fresh lemon (to squeeze at end)
sugar (jus for taste)

Soak the Poha for 5 mins then drain sometimes washing is enough as Poha soaked so much water.Keep aside. Heat oil in a pan .Fry peanuts then remove it from the oil. Season with asafoetida, then mustard seeds. As soon as they crackle, add potato till crisp after that diced onion and green chilies. Fry until translucent. Add turmeric and curry leaves to hot oil once onions are done.Add Poha and salt and mix thoroughly. Cook for 3-4 minutes.Add sugar and mix well.

squeeze lemon juice before serving. Garnish with Coriander.
