A very important part of  Indian culture is “KARWA CHAUTH ” . Most of the people around the world now know about Indian festivals like Diwali , Holi  but very few people know about Karwa Chauth . Karwa Chauth has been an important part of Indian culture since ages. On this day married  women fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husbands , means they don’t eat or drink anything (even water) on this day until moon rises. Sometimes ,unmarried women observe the fast for their fiances or desired husbands.  As u can see the picture ,women dress up like a bride ,worship Goddess Chauth Mata on this day , Read / listen story behind this day then in the evening when moon arrives, open their fast by worshiping moon .
